| Ring lamp by Loris Bottello |
Italian designer Loris Bottello was inspired by Tron when he created the Ring lamp. While it may look decorative the outer copper ring is fully functional and actually powers the lamp via brush contacts that transfer energy. The lighting element is a bioluminescent polymer and its intensity is adjusted by rotating the light disc.
